Groups: Home, Study & Prayer

It’s tough being new to a place and not knowing anyone. One way to help you get to know others at ChristBridge is through small groups that meet in homes (Home Groups). In groups people share meals, prayer, and life-discussion generated by reflection on the Biblical text.

Maybe you’ve bridged to God through Worship (both private and corporate). Now you want to walk the bridge that leads to others. Currently you can join either an on-campus group or an off-campus group. You can read brief descriptions of current groups below.

Then, at the bottom of the page, fill out the Groups Sign-Up Form and hit “Submit.”

You’ll be on your way towards Bridging to Others!

The Warners

Our group meets on Sundays after church and is hosted in the home of Klint and Laura Warner. It is an open group for families with kids. Our children are from two years old to teens and are included in the group. Just come hungry! We meet 3 weeks and take one off.

The Goffs

Our group meets on Wednesdays from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm at ChristBridge Fellowship and is hosted by Gary and Jeanine Goff.

The Browns

Our group meets on Sundays twice a month from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm and is hosted by Rick and Karen Brown. It is an open group. We share a meal, talk about our lives in connection with the morning’s sermon, and pray for each other.

The Eckerts & Vaughns

This group is about Food, Family and Life. It meets three weeks out of the month. Our families will eat together and then the adults will talk life as the kids spend time together. We will meet Sunday, September 17 to talk about the best time for the group to meet regularly.

Josh and Sandy Eckert and Drew and Diana Vaughn host this group.

The Lynch Group

Our group meets on Saturdays from 6:00 to 7:30 pm and is hosted in various homes (Hughes, Lynch, Roquemore). It is an open group for the baby boomers and over. We
meet 3 weeks and take one off.

College & Beyond

This small group is for those who are in college or just recently out (still in your twenties). This group will meet on Sunday nights. For the Fall semester the group will be reading and discussing the book of Galatians.

Josh Eckert will guide this group.

Sunday Morning Group

Join this group on … you guessed it… Sunday mornings from 9:15-10:00 a.m. at ChristBridge. This Fall the group will look at the book of Acts with a fresh set of eyes and be reminded of God’s guidance in the lives of His called ones and be renewed in their belief in the trustworthiness of Scripture.

Michael Carlson is leading this study.

Wednesday Night Group

Join this group on … you guessed it… on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:00 p.m at ChristBridge. This Spring the topic will be Financial Peace.

Group members are encouraged to grab some fast food on the way to the meeting and feel free to chow down while the learning commences. (If you bring some fries for the teachers you may get bonus points.)

(There is also a Sunday opportunity for Financial Peace too this Spring. Follow this link to find out more about the class.)

Rick Brown will facilitate this group.

The Garden Group

If you like the outdoors, gardening, and God’s word then be a part of the Garden group. Even if you know next to nothing about gardening but want to try it out then this is the group for you. “Plant the seed, add water, and watch God give the growth.”

John and Linda Keltgen will help you “grow” in this group.

Prayer Partners

One of the marks of people who follow Jesus is prayer. If prayer is your passion, you may want to meet with this group on Sunday mornings from 8:30-9:15 a.m. to pray for ChristBridge church, its people, and for those in need.

It’s 45 minutes that can change everything. This group meets in Room 114.
