Commercial Water Boilers – What You Need to Know

Commercial water boilers are an incredibly convenient piece of apparatus in today`s busy commercial kitchen, saving you both time and money in your daily run of business. They are incredibly energy efficient hot water heating systems perfect for large commercial properties and commercial businesses including restaurants, hotels, canteens and hospitals, delivering a consistently high source of heated water for your staff and visitors… However, they aren`t suited for smaller, more personal properties. Water heaters for residential homes come in many different shapes and sizes and can be installed almost anywhere in a home (including bathrooms! ), so it`s important to work out which system is the most suitable for you before you make any final decisions.

The main types of commercial water boilers available are either manual fill or electric powered. The former uses a person`s `in-line` arm action to fill water from a tap and can be very tricky to use. The latter is basically an electric hot water boiler that work much like your boiler at home but doesn`t require a person`s full attention during operation. Electric hot water heaters also take much longer to warm up, and can also be noisy. If you`re looking for one of these systems, try to choose one that is as energy efficient as possible, and is as simple to use as possible. Although both have their pluses and minuses, the choice usually comes down to personal preference and the size of your business.

For commercial water boilers with tubes, the easiest to install are the electric types. Tubes are widely available on the market and often include a thermostat ensuring that the boiler can maintain the correct temperature, regardless of whether there is direct sunlight or not. This makes them extremely versatile, as you could operate the boiler without having direct access to the water lines. You may even find that they are enough for some businesses with many customers at once, as electric boilers can handle thousands of customers at once.
